July 2007
Hot fun in the summertime...

Summer's in full swing (at least in my part of the globe), and it's time to head to the beach, the mountains, your own backyard... or wherever you go to relax and get away from it all. Leave behind the business and professional reading, and take something along to read just for fun. To help you select the right books for your vacation, ResearchNOTES suggests a few summer reading Web sites...

NPR: Summer Books 2007, at http://tinyurl.com/3ygyba, offers critics' lists and recent columns. Also look for book excerpts, interviews, reviews, and a section just for kids.

National Review: Go to http://tinyurl.com/3bja9m to check out National Review Online. Here you'll find their annual compilation of reader recommendations, which cover both fiction and non-fiction titles on a wide range of topics.

Writers are reading: Do you ever wonder what your favorite author is reading? Authors' Summer Reading Lists at http://tinyurl.com/2gspwv includes the summer reading plans of more than 50 authors, with more being added throughout
the summer.

Let me know some of your favorites, and I'll post them in next month's ResearchNOTES. In the meantime, enjoy your summer!
